Ever since April I’ve been trying to find a source for this camera, or at least a published release date. i’ve been puzzled why there has been NO information about this camera’s release since April.

I just got one of these. It takes beautiful shots, way better than any powershot i’ve ever used. I hate to say, but the 720p video seems better than the test e-p1 ones i’ve seen, but that could have been the user and not the camera.

I’d like to add one more thing, 4/3 is still a fairly unused format. Posting information on 4/3 camera manufacturer’s other items seems fair game to me. Once the m4/3 movement starts making grounds I doubt there will be any time or space available for off-topic items. But for now, chill out.

My original idea was to cover all the Olympus and Panasonic digital photography news and rumors. I choose the “43rumors” name because 90% of the news are about FourThirds cameras and most important because it makes it clear that we cover the news of both brands. From a logical point of view “43rumors” isn’t a correct domain name. But I simply havn’t found a better solution. And to be honest in 4 months since we exist you are the first to critizes our coverage of compact camera news. The only thing I can promise you is that I will keep covering mostly FourThirds news and may I will think twice before to post any small compact news (and yes, may you are right, the bhphoto TZ3 news isn’t that important).
Can you accept the compromise?

Yes. If it’s not 4/3s, it is out of place. You’ve done well so far but if you start throwing anything with the Panny or Oly names on it, you will lose your focus and your readers.

It wasn’t easy to find the right domain name. A name which makes it easy to understand that we cover both companies. What do you suggest, to not post compact Olympus and Panasonic camera news?
