(FT5) Panasonic GX8 uses a new 20 MP sensor (from Sony?)

Highly trusted sources just told us the new Panasonic GX8 will feature a new 20 Megapixel sensor. I am yet not sure this is actually the new Sony MFT sensor I spotted a while ago on Sony.net.

The camera also records 4K and will be announced on July 16 at 5-6am London time. As usual you can follow the live-blogging here on 43rumors!
