(FT4) GH5s has a new multiaspect sensor and no IBIS?

Share

A reliable source sent me this info. Please be aware that so far I couldn’t double check this. But the source was right with past rumors so there is a fair chance he might be correct on this one too:

The GH5S will make use of a new, multi aspect ratio sensor and subsequently lose the IBIS system. It would seem to be confirmed that it will be using Sony’s IMX294CJK sensor.
This is one of the biggest changes to come from the new variant. Designed to work in higher budget production’s alongside the EVA1, even using the EVA1’s dual native ISO system (800 & 2500).

Thanks!
