New Olympus patent describes a MFT camera with “Astrotracer” features

I really don’t know if Olympus (now OM Digital) will really make this thing: A new Japanese patent describes a nee MFT camera with “Astrotracer” features. The Pentax K-1II had such a feature which you can see described in this product video:

What do you think…is there really a need for this?
