OM Digital announces E-P7 orders will resume on August 5th

As you know a sudden increase of demand for the Olympus E-P7 forced OM Digital to stop accepting preorders. Yesterday OM Dgitial issued that press note in Japan (google translated):

Thank you for your continued patronage of OM Digital Solutions products.

Regarding the mirrorless single-lens camera “PEN E-P7,” for which we have temporarily suspended accepting orders, we will resume accepting orders from retailers and our online store from 10:00 a.m. on August 5, 2024.

We deeply apologize to our customers and all concerned parties for the inconvenience caused to those who have been waiting for a long time. Regarding the mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera “OM-D E-M10 Mark IV,” we will resume accepting orders as soon as we have a prospect of supply, so we ask for your patience for a little while longer.

We will continue to strive to further improve our services, so we appreciate your continued patronage.
