The image leaks are probably real images but I am waiting for some confirmation from our bigger sources!

UPDATE: I downgraded the rumor value from FT3 to FT2. I am waiting for some confirmation from other sources…

I Just came back from  my Jungle trip in Australia and saw this images inside the xitek forum. The post has been deleted after few hours. This is not the first possible GF1 image we saw (click here to see the GL1 rumored image and specs). Xitek leaked images are normally good so maybe this could be a real one?

UPDATE: One of our most known sources says the camera is real! The camera should be unveiled right in time for the IFA in Berlin! We upgraded the rumor value from FT2 to FT4.

The same xitek post said that the MFT camera will be released together with the 20mm and 45mm lens.

We received first rumors about the next Panasonic MicroFourThirds camera. One of the most possible new features will be the SDXC support. This are fast and high capacity cards. You can read more about this cards by clicking here: CNET (Toshiba recently released the first SDXC card). This will allow Panasonic to have a better video compression rate on the next MFT camera ….maybe 24MB/S ???

Nothing new here, we already knew it since March but in case you need one more confirmation read the latest chassimages magazine. They predict the E-P2 will have a viewfinder and be released before the end of the year.

I’m continuely receiving emails from people saying the Panasonic LX3 is beeing discontinued in the UK and US. This is not the first time that we hear that.

Amazon US has only few Panasonic DMC-LX3K 1 (Black) in stock.

(FT2) A new source confirmed us that Panasonic is ready to release a compact camera with backlight sensor. In future Panasonic will apply the same tecnology on MFT sensors.
