Panasonic financial report: Profits and forecast improved. New announcement on November 5th (for S gear)

Panasonic released the full Q2 financial report (PDF file here). There is no info about the camera business but the company as a whole is doing very well. The camera business is incorporated in the “Appliances” segment. All they say there is that the recovery trend is continuing.

Panasonic is expected to have announce the new 85mm f/1.8 S lens on November 5th. There is likely going to be no info about possible future MFT products :(
