“It seems that Panasonic G2 doesn’t bother is battery genuine or not!
It accepts anything you feed into battery compartment, any object that supplies proper voltage and has proper size..
Ordinary serial G2 specimen just bought in ordinary Russian shop was used for tests. It takes without questions three types of cheap China replace batteries, taken from three different sources. All three batteries were rejected by G1 with v.1.5.firmware.
It’s really strange that none of numerous pre-reviews ever mentioned this most useful feature of G2”
