Sigma 30mm MFT lens by DSLRmagazine
After the launch of the 19mm and 30mm MFT lenses Sigma went “quiet” on the mirrorless lens design front. But Sigma is clearly aware of the mirrorless system camera future. In an interview at DSLRmagazine (google translation here) Sigma CEO Kazuto Yamaki said “We are sure mirrorless will growth and we will expand our presence there“. They did not mention any possible specs of future lenses although they said they are working on some “unique” designs. An interesting side note: They said that unlike this years Photokina they expect a lot of important announcements at CP+ in February.
