Hi everyone. Yesterday i went to the Lisbon Tall Ships race 2016 and took my trusty olympus OMD EM5 mkI paired with the 12-50mm kit lenses. As I would be in a boat i expected some splashes, but not what I got. As i was taking a shot, a wave came and hit the hull, water covered myself and the camera in a bath of saltwater. Fear not as the camera was not only ok as it continued to work perfectly and with no signs of water penetration nor fogging. Rest assured it was properly rinsed with freshwater and thoroughly cleaned and dried.
This is one of my favourite shots from the afternoon.

My brother is into bicycle racing. He’s in the Simple Green Jersey coming around the corner. His race was another opportunity to test the Pana Leica 100-400 before returning it. The most challenging aspect of the shoot was grabbing focus and holding my subject in frame. In spite of the EVF lag, and the limitations of the GH-3 I was able to come away with 5 or 6 keepers. GH-3, Pana Leica 100-400 at 195mm, ISO 800, F 5.6 1/1000 sec.
