Emma and I visited a new reserve for us on Sunday, Elmley Nature Reserve in Kent. No cafe on site, but we already knew this and had something at home grin emoticon
. The south of England had been covered cloud for about week, could be more, could be a year…..except there was a report of sun at Lackford Lakes by Barry Woodhouse Beaker Baz. If I’d got this shot in the sun it would show off the iridescent colours of the Lapwing a charm,but it wasn’t shot under sunny skies so it doesn’t…. Digiscoped from the car hide with my Olympus EM1, a Panasonic 20mm f1.7 lens attached via a Paul Sayegh Digidapter to my Swarovski Optik Nature STX85 spotting scope.
