What’s next: Olympus and Panasonic cameras/lenses

Share

After the Cp+ buzz and announcement we can expect a couple of months of relative quietness. This is what’s going to happen next:

  • Panasonic will announce new camcorders in April. No info yet if there will be any new MFT mount camcorder (don’t think this will happen)
  • The Z-E2 MFT mount camera with 4k120fps should be announced at the NAB show in early April
  • Sigma will soon announce a new 50mm f/1.4 MFT mount lens
  • Olympus might announce some “minor” stuff in June
  • Olympus 12mm f/1.2 could be announced at Photokina
  • No 100% reliable info yet when Olympus will announce the new PEN-F and E-M5III
  • Some sort of special anniversary OMD model might be announced this year
  • Panasonic next major camera announcement is expected at Photokina
